"For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—not by works, so that no one can boast." Ephesians 2:8–9

About The Coffee

Fatima farm was acquired in 1970 by Antonio Orea and Genoveva Perez-Redondo. Fatima’s coffee was used as a high-quality commodity lot until 2018, when Givette and Ernesto, both third-generation producers, decided to enter the specialty coffee market.

In 2019, Finca Fatima became a Cup of Excellence winner with a score of 89.41 points, using the criolla typica varieties of coatepec. Again in 2021, Finca Fátima was an international winner of the Cup of Excellence.

This coffee is processed as follows: the cherries used for this process were picked at their optimum point of ripeness, subsequently pulped and then classified by density. They were first immersed in water and then spread on raised beds (without fermentation) achieving sweet notes and a silky full-bodied coffee.

Why Grace

We are serving this coffee all month long in September, and when thinking of a name for this naturally sweet coffee, amongst all the hustle and bustle of preparing for this new season, we were constantly reminded of God’s grace that he has for us. Our salvation comes through His grace for us, not through our works or actions, but by simple grace. No matter how hard we work, it will not save us; only God’s grace will, and we are thankful for that.
