King Of Kings
We are very excited to offer this Bourbon variety from Finca La Perla in Veracruz, Mexico. We enjoy this as an espresso, pour over, and even drip! Its natural sweetness and subtle fruity flavors come out beautifully in every sip.
This Bourbon from Finca La Perla was processed using the natural method, beginning with a meticulous selection of ripe cherries at their optimal sweetness. The whole cherries were slowly dried for 25 days on raised African beds, being carefully turned to ensure even drying and prevent defects. This extended process enhances sugar concentration and develops a unique aromatic complexity.
We named this roast King of Kings, inspired by Isaiah 9:6–7 … As we come out of the Christmas season, we reflect on the birth of Christ Jesus and what that truly means. Jesus came into this world to save us all. He is the Prince of Peace, Wonderful Counselor, Healer, Provider, Protector, a King! Jesus is above it all and has authority over all, he is truly the King of Kings.
For to us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder, and his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Of the increase of his government and of peace, there will be no end, on the throne of David and over his kingdom, to establish it and to uphold it with justice and with righteousness from this time forth and forevermore. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will do this. Isaiah 9:6–7
